Bari Miller Bari is no stranger to the Santa Cruz Follies, as she has directed previous shows and is the director of this years show. Bari started as a performer in 1998, later became stage manager, choreographer and director. She is also an accomplished dancer trained in ballet and tap. Bari is the Follies photographer and responsible for most of the great pictures you see of the Follies. |

Lee Peterson
Lee has been performing in the Follies together for the last 10 years. His wife Terry loves to dance and Lee loves to sing, so they are always excited when the show starts. This year Lee will be helping with the musical direction. Lee thinks Follies is a great cause and enjoy performing with so many talented people for such a responsive audience. They are really looking forward to this year’s show and hope you enjoy it as much as they do. |

Kris WheelerKris was so anxious to become a part of the Follies, she auditioned in 1992 as soon as she turned 50. She’s been performing ever since while also working miracles back stage. From a very early age Kris was taught by her family the love of music. She is well known and has been involved in the musical scene in Santa Cruz for many years performing in barbershop, community and church venues.
Besides performing in the Follies, she has also undertaken the very difficult job of costuming the entire Follies cast. Her talents at finding costumes at a reasonable price are truly out of the ordinary! |

Ivan and Pat Dodson
The very versatile veteran Ivan Dodson has been appearing in Follies shows for 22 years, sporting his trademark handlebar mustache and comic antics. Back when Ivan’s band played at the Market St. Center’s monthly pot luck lunches, the Follies director approached him to perform. One snag…he wasn’t yet 50, but he was allowed to rehearse until the requisite birthday arrived. In recent years, wife Pat joined Ivan in handling the dozens of props so necessary to make each show work. Their genius at creating something out of nothing is legendary. |
